How we develop our Swiss-Russian network of partners

On the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, The Swiss Russian Chamber of Commerce and the Roscongress Foundation signed a Cooperation Agreement. The signing ceremony was attended by the President of the Swiss Russian Chamber of Commerce Svetlana Chiriaeva and the SPIEF Director Alexei Valkov. The document envisages cooperation between the parties in establishing effective communication between expert communities as well as business and political circles of the Russian Federation and the Swiss Confederation.

The main areas of interaction include the development of common communication platforms at an international level in order to stimulate intergovernmental cooperation in various areas; developing mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of promoting and organizing major congresses and exhibitions of international scope; assistance in strengthening existing partnership relations between representatives of business communities as well as searching for and developing new long-term partnership relations; developing a dialogue between the parties on matters concerning cooperation in the investment and financial sphere, export-import activities, and other areas.
